About Us
Originally founded in March 1990, the Kingdom of the Sun Concert Band is an all-volunteer organization. The band rehearses every Monday evening. Our repertoire offers a wide variety of music including marches, big band medleys, classical, popular music, show tunes, and patriotic tributes. The band performs throughout the year at venues in the greater Ocala / Marion County area, all of which are free and open to the public.

Musical selections include: Jericho, Highlights from "CATS", Jazz It Up, More Than You Know, soloist Marcia Muncaster, Honey Boys On Parade, Suite On Canadian Folk Songs, and Slippery Gentlemen featuring the KOS Trombone Trio, and more.
Come early to hear "Noelie and the Greyhounds" as they delight our audience with their pre-concert doo-wop selections.
Both performances are at Marion Technical Instititute Auditorium
and are free and open to the public (no tickets needed).
Program Advertising
Your business can now advertise in our concert programs, which are viewed by hundreds of potential customers at each Kingdom of the Sun Concert Band performance (8 concerts per year).
Business card size ads may be puchased for only $100 per year (September through August).
